ON THE IDEAL TRACK

To offer our future professionals a break from their busy days of learning, we decided to pay a visit to the go-kart race track in Innsbruck on Friday, 27 August. 19 of our 23 apprentices from the fields of electrical engineering, metal technology and mechatronics got involved.

3CON’s bright young stars not only had a lot of fun during this social, casual get-together outside the 3CON production halls, but also demonstrated outstanding go-karting skills!

 None more so than Marcel Feichtner, a fourth-year apprentice in metal technology and mechanical engineering, who used his horsepower most skilfully on the tarmac and, with a record lap time of 35.71 seconds, even beat his instructor Daniel Rusch, who came in second (36.97 seconds). Sometimes, even the apprentice can show the master a thing or two...

On 1 September 2021, the 3CON apprentice team will be welcoming 6 new members in the fields of operational logistics, mechatronics and electrical engineering. We look forward to seeing you! And maybe one of the new recruits will be able to hold their own against Marcel at our next go-karting event.
