DOUBLE JUBILEE!

THOUSANDS OF STEPS FOR A GOOD CAUSE AND HALF A CENTURY

On 8 May 2022 we brought Team 3CON to the Wings for Life Worldrun starting line for the first time and ran for those who cannot. Our team of employees included sports enthusiasts, hobby athletes, walkers ... and even the most die-hard couch potato could be mobilised. Most importantly, it was fun to do our bit for this good cause.

 In total, more than 70 3CON runners from our headquarters in Ebbs/AUT, 30 from 3CON Mexico, 8 from our branch in the USA and another 10 from our plant in China took part. Many thanks to all of you for the terrific effort! Special kudos to our colleagues Harald Toplitsch with 34 km, closely followed by Martin Kopp who managed 30.8 km and our best female runner Pamela Palma with 21 km – we were left speechless and could only say: what a breathtaking performance!

At the end of the day, we were able to raise quite a tidy sum for spinal cord research, which 3CON founder and CEO Hannes Auer doubled again to mark his 50^th birthday.

This brings us to the second jubilee of 8 May: after the premiere of the run, the half century of Hannes Auer was celebrated. A nice group of the CEO’s staff, family and closest friends celebrated the two special events with finest food, live music from "Die Jungen Thierseer", one or the other good drop and many a person until the early morning hours.
